Shaheen Sadeghi
CEO Lab Holding LLC

Following a successful career in the fashion industry and action sports, including President of surfing giant Quiksilver. Shaheen has been in front of the cultural shift in Orange County.

As the founder, president and CEO of LAB Holdings LLC, Shaheen is the visionary developer behind now 49, retail centers that include the first “green” retail center, The Camp, and the Lab Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa. As well as, the historic, Casino San Clemente, Packing House, the Packard Building, Farmers Park, the Make project, Center Street Promenade, and Modern Times Leisure Town to name a few.

Sadeghi founded LAB Holdings in 1991, which is an acronym for Little American Businesses. He believes in preserving the authenticity and culture of these historic sites by bringing together innovative and passionate small businesses. His goal is to create partnerships with these talented local entrepreneurs, artisans, educators, and trade organizations to give them a chance, and to make a difference in the community while reshaping the industry.

Some of his proudest achievements have been receiving the Mayor’s Hall of Fame Award from Costa Mesa and is a 5-time Golden Nugget award winner for PCBC Project of the Year. He has also been international recognized by the BBC, NY Times, London Financial Times, and USA Today for the development of his hip real estate projects. He is a frequent inspirational speaker on TED and has been repeatedly acknowledged by the Boston Globe, NPR, and Wall Street Journal, who identified Sadeghi as “retail royalty”.
