Endowment Fund Update: The Orange County chapter of Lambda Alpha has a
goal of building a $100,000 endowment fund over the next five years to
provide scholarships to graduate students studying in the direct,
complementary and related fields of Land Based Economics – Lambda
Alpha’s purpose for existence. This encompasses many areas of
study. We feel that students are the future – not only of our
organization, but the future of land and its related economics. BY
supporting education, we support and continue the interest, growth, and
care of one of our most precious resources – our land. We are
looking for pledges and donations to build the fund that was started in
December 2005. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated and
will further our chapter’s and Internationals long-term goals.
We are hoping for another great turnout, and look
forward to seeing you there!

Orange County Chapter luncheon meetings are
held on the 3rd Monday of the month. No meetings are held in July or August.
Meetings start at 11:30 AM with a networking/social half-hour preceding lunch at
12:00 noon. Meetings usually end by 1:30 PM.
The Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter meets at 10:00 AM at The
Pacific Club, preceding the meetings. The Minutes of the most recent board
meeting can be found on the
Publications page.
The Publications section represents
discussions, papers presented at Chapter meetings, and symposia where members
have made a contribution. The most recent issue of the Orange County Chapter
