NOTICE: All Lambda Alpha Events at the Pacific Club will be on Wednesdays for 2024 unless otherwise stated.

“DISNEYLANDFORWARD”

Lambda Alpha is very excited to present DisneylandForward. DisneylandForward is an amazing plan that represents a multi-year planning effort to update one of Orange County’s most important places the Disneyland Resort. Please join us as we hear directly from Disneyland Resort’s Karalee Darnell, Government Relations Senior Manager. This multi-year effort reflects the previous 1990’s approvals which created districts for growth by limiting the types of uses allowed in each district.

THE DISNEYLAND RESORT

Karalee joined the Disneyland Resort in December of 2019 as the Manager of Government Relations. She is responsible for developing the Resort’s overall government, political, and policy initiatives and efforts, developing strategies and plans to support Resort operations and expansions. She was a member of the DisneylandForward team, which achieved unanimous approval from the Anaheim City Council, and will allow for the development of the Resort for the next 40 years.

Karalee served eleven years on the City of Yorba Linda Planning Commission, serving as Chair in 2015 and 2018. She is a member of the Orange County Transportation Authority’s Citizens Advisory Committee and an adjunct faculty member at California State University, Fullerton. Karalee completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in Political Science at California State University, Fullerton.

Due to the high demand for this event, seats will be given based on RSVP order. Members will get priority for our events and if you are waitlisted we will email you to let you know.

*No refunds for no-shows. Please note that the full 85$ lunch fee will be charged to those who RSVP and do not show up to the event. This fee covers the no-show cost charged for the meal by the Pacific Club. Last day to RSVP is October 16th, 2024 or when the spots are filled up.
